Consistency is key, and whether you're working with me in person on the gym floor or through Online Coaching remotely, my three key principles are always at the forefront of our discussions. I seamlessly integrate these principles into every aspect of my daily routine, whether its work related or specifically training related.
Thomas A. Edison's timeless wisdom rings true: "There's no substitute for hard work." Totally accurate, being the hardest worker in the room paves the way for the desired results. It's literally about putting 100% effort in each and every time you train. Hard work, consistency, and cultivating positive habits and routines in your diet and training regimen will inevitably lead to a positive transformation over time.
Training well and following a strict diet plan for a short period of time is great and will get you instant results. However, if you’re in it for the long run, then the real game-changer is the commitment to consistency for the long haul. It's about forging habits that become second nature, a daily routine that you effortlessly incorporate. The true rewards of hard work emerge when consistency becomes a earned part of your journey, proving vital to achieving lasting results!
It’s all good and well to train hard and do it consistently, but ask yourself how long will this last? The key is to think long term and maintain dedication to your newfound routines and lifestyle changes. While training hard and consistency are essential, true progress hinges on sustained dedication. It's a conscious choice, one that plays a pivotal role in your fitness journey. To achieve lasting success, unwavering focus and dedication must remain constant companions on your path.
The significance of these three principles cannot be overstated. Incorporating them into your daily life will bring numerous benefits, fostering continuous self-improvement and pushing you to become the best version of yourself.

MAIN GOAL: LOSE BODY FAT AND WEIGHT

I cannot thank Kully enough! I have been battling with my weight and motivation for over 10 years. I have gained a lot of weight over the years from sports injuries, an unhealthy diet, working from home, being lazy, and generally a poor attitude to training and making up excuses. Losing over 15kg the year previously through dieting, and doing my own random workouts, proved to me that I could do this, but when I quickly put it all back on, I realised that it wasn't sustainable and that I needed a coach! Someone who can help me make improvements and that's where Kully came to the rescue.
Kully is very knowledgeable, and takes the time to get to know you, through questionnaires and weekly and monthly catch up calls. He tailors the training to you based on your diet, your routine, and your likes and dislikes. Kully ultimately teaches you the fundamentals, enabling you to make better decisions and develop healthy and positive habits. My mindset has shifted, I've increased my daily step count from 3k steps a day to 10-15k steps a day. I'm doing 3 workouts a week and having fun and I feel a lot stronger! Rav trains at home and has access to limited equipment - one of which was a kettlebell. So, we do a LOT of kettlebell work using my personalised kettlebell program. I can genuinely say that I don't think I've ever had a client who trains as hard as this guy! The improvements he's made are on another level. To give you an example, I challenged Rav to a kettlebell workout and said do 300 reps of kettlebell swings (10kg) in the least amount of sets as you can and as quickly as you can, minimising the rest periods in between with a 30 minute time cap.
The first time Rav completed it, he did just over 300 reps in 17 sets and it took him just under 52 minutes to complete. The last time Rav did challenge, he actually did 500 reps instead of 300 and completed it in 5 sets!!! It only took him 28 minutes to complete it. I even asked him to send me a video showing me how he was doing it and can verify the technique was correct! Insane results achieved!
MAIN GOAL: LOSE WEIGHT AND TONE UP

The biggest achievement I can give Mohsin is his ability to stay consistent with his training. I remember during one session, we were training back and chest. A random guy from the gym who neither of us knew came up to Mohsin and said, "You've got a lot bigger mate and your back looks f%$king huge now." We literally just looked at each other and laughed - it was at this moment, we knew... IT WAS GAINS SEASON! All his numbers in regards to rep ranges and PB's have gone up - 1. Previous Chess Press was 60kg, now it's 1RM at 80kg. 2. Previous Military Press was 45kg and now his 1RM is 65kg. 3. Previous Deadlift was 100kg for 1 rep and now it's 132.5kg. 4. Previous Squat was 80kg for 1RM and now it's 120kg! #LFG
MAIN GOAL: BUILD MUSCLE AND LOSE FAT

Having tried a few PTs Kully is definitely my favourite by far. Its clear how much knowledge he has and he has shown me how important form, technique, breathing etc is while lifting weights. I always get PBs in my sessions with Kully as he pushes me to go further than I would do alone! Very happy and looking forward to more sessions.

Kirsty is an ABSOLUTE beast!!! I have never known another female lift as much as she does. We achieve new PBs literally every other session. When Kirsty first started her 1RM for bench press was 52.5kg now its 60kg. Her 3RM for military press was 35kg now she can do a 1RM at 52.5kg! her previous 3RM for deadlifts was 80kg and now she can easily lift 125kg for 1 rep and when using the trap bar its even more at 135kg for 1 rep! that's more than 2 times her own bodyweight.
The last time Kirsty tried back squats with me, she managed 75kg for 3RM, we haven't even attempted her 1RM yet, so looking forward to see what numbers Kirsty can put up soon. Oh, one more thing, she can casually leg press 400kg too (we have video evidence!. Kirsty trains hard and always gives 110%, lets see what she is capable of in the coming months ahead. One thing is for sure though, there will be plenty more PBs broken... #BeastModeOn
MAIN GOAL: BECOME HEALTHIER

I reached out to Kully soon after Christmas 2021, just before the NY. Like everyone else going into the NY, it was an opportunity to change my diet, habits, and to become fitter and stronger. Kully, from the outset, wanted to know how serious I was and whether it was just going to be a 'few-weeks' thing. I approach Kully with a view of getting fitter, putting on size/weight is always something I've struggled with, but the main thing was about feeling fitter, both mentally and physically.
Kully did his initial assessment and made drastic changes to my diet, routine, and tips/tricks. I was 85kg and within 7 weeks, I was down to 72kg, my resting HR dropped from 78 to 48, and I felt amazing. As 2022 progresses, I started to lack focus and training, it started to become more of a hit and miss rather than being consistent and this was down to timings as I was taking F2F sessions and it was hard to work around schedules. Since Jan 2023, I have opted to take the online coaching approach with Kully.
I do recommend a few F2F sessions if distance isn't an issue because the tips and techniques I learnt in these sessions are so valuable. I can apply them to the workouts I do alone. No single session was ever the same, ranging from HIIT and CrossFit sessions. The beauty of training with Kully was he recorded what each session contained and the results in a private group which means you can refer back to these at any time and do them again. I was glad I made the switch from eating takeouts, fizzy drinks, and no exercise to completely the other end of the spectrum. Kully has really motivated me to becoming fitter both physically and mentally.

In regards to actual weight loss and achieving his initial goal, Aman can legitimately say he's achieved this through hard work and dedication, especially when it comes to his diet and eating habits. The total weight loss through dieting and his bespoke training program was staggering. Aman managed to lose 13kg in less than 2 full months! His resting HR was also too high for someone his age and size, and he even managed to drop that by over 30bpm since he started training with me.
We focused on lifting weights for volume and not necessarily heavy weight. This proved to work wonders as not only did Aman get physically stronger, it also helped him burn calories and evidently assisted in losing all that weight. Aman has recently moved away from face-to-face training and is now on the Online Coaching program. I cannot wait to see what new goals we can achieve together in the coming months! #LFG
MAIN GOAL: IMPROVE OVERALL FITNESS

NOT JUST A PT BUT A TEACHER! I wanted a PT after losing confidence in the gym following lockdown and feeling like I needed a push to get back into fitness and having to start again. Sessions are always geared around me and in my hands to say what I want to achieve and what my goals are and Kully always makes those sessions fit around what would work for me to achieve those goals. They are never repetitive or monotonous PT sessions. They are always changed up and challenging and always with my own personal goal in mind.
I have learnt so much more than how to lift weights properly and those weights getting heavier. I've also learnt how important breathing is, good form, better boxing skill, being in competition with myself alone, and how to improve these elements including mental approach and how much they impact on my performance in a positive way. I'm excited to see how much I can progress further with Kully, I can already appreciate the changes I have made so far. I am confident my personal goals will be achieved and actually look forward to our PT sessions.

When Lizzie joined KSPT, she already had good gym experience and ate quite well anyway. By the time we stopped working together, Lizzie was much stronger than when she started. For example, her previous 1RM on Military Press was 20kg. Later, she was able to smash 5 reps and 5 sets of the same weight with ease. We worked on her upper body with specific strength training exercises and explored new ways of training her back and legs and these areas have both seen improvements in strength and endurance, especially during deadlifting. Lizzie's cardio and her boxing/striking improved as well with more of a focus on foot movement and finding the right shots.

Ishy was already quite good when it came to boxing fundamentals and already had a few fights under his belt. Whenever we work together, we make sure to drill the basics and focus on pad work sessions, improving his complete range of punches. We also do a lot of tough conditioning work. Recently Ishy had asked me to corner him for one of his fights due in February 2024. We had a good solid 8 weeks of training and went through a lot of different scenarios. We focussed on his cardio to ensure he was fit heading into the fight. We did a lot of pad work and drilling. I even got a few lads in to help Ishy with his sparring to get him ready towards the end of his training camp before his fight.
MAIN GOAL: IMPROVE FITNESS IN ORDER TO PASS NUMEROUS WORK-RELATED TESTS

When Daniella first got in contact with me, it was to help her pass specific fitness tests for a new career move. This was very specific goal and we only had a certain time frame to achieve it in, as the test was only a few weeks away. The first session involved seeing where Daniella was currently at - both in terms of cardio and strength endurance. This then helped to determine where the changes needed to be made. Her training program had several parts to it and a timeline to which certain targets had to be met by.
The sessions involved high intensity lifting and movements as well as volume strength training, it wasn't just all cardio based, we strengthened specific muscle groups to cope with the pressure and the load the fitness tests would bring. This was by far my favourite program design to date as it involved so many moving parts and a deadline of course to achieve all in. It wasn't just physical training as well, I also focussed on the mental side of the upcoming challenges with Daniella and got her thinking differently about it with a new bullet proof mindset - 'I CAN' achieve my goals instead of 'I hope'.
MAIN GOAL: IMPROVE FITNESS AND HEALTH

As a fitness novice, I was apprehensive about diving into the world of personal training, Kully made it an approachable and encouraging process. Daniils first approached me back in February 2023, his goal was simple, due to his work he sits at a desk for a lot of the day and he wanted to get more active and build a better posture. Since he started with me, his lifts have improved dramatically and he’s got stronger as time goes on. His back isn’t an issue anymore like it was before, for example, when he first started working with me we attempted the barbell deadlift and he managed 50kg for 3 reps in 1 set, fast forward a few months and now he can easily do 70kg for 5 reps minimum and for 3 sets. His trap bar deadlift is 90kg for 5 reps of 5 sets too. His cardio has improved (albeit more could be done in this area). Daniils incorporates a lot of walking/hiking as part of his weekly exercise regime and has recently started Pilates. Keep up the good work Daniils!

I was sceptical at first about doing online training, I had my assessment face to face and Kully really took time to get to know me, my fitness level and my form querying about my goals and overall health. He gave me feedback and this was done with patience and lots of knowledge Kully truly knows what he is doing. He made me feel at ease and was very motivating in the sessions. I would definitely train with Kully again and couldn’t recommend him enough. He is your guy if your wanting to improve your fitness, form, take up a challenge, need pushing and motivation! Will make you work hard but you will reap the rewards.

Chazz was actually my first official client at KSPT. I remember the biggest challenge was to keep her motivated and on track with her goals. As we worked together, Chaz understood more and more of what her body was capable of and once she understood what worked for her and what didn’t the training routine became easier. Including session planning. The problem was consistency, the training blueprint is there. It’s just about finding the time and sticking to it. Chazz ended up losing 13 pounds (5.9kg) so clearly she has proven that it can be done, you just have to stick to it and make it as part of your weekly routine!

Gaz is a good mate of mine, so this was always going to be fun from day 1! We had some good conversations about general fitness and what an ideal 'healthy lifestyle' looked like. Gaz isn’t big into sports or the gym, so we had to find something that he enjoyed which would help him get fitter and lose some weight. We came to the conclusion it was biking. He even bought a nice outdoor bike and spent quite a bit of money on it so I knew at this point he would take it seriously.
From the first ride we did (we’ve done a fair few since then) his resting heart rate has dropped – which shows he’s obviously getting fitter, but more significantly his maximum and average heart rate during the course of a typical 20 mile bike ride has dropped massively. So it’s apparent his body is getting used to the stress of riding a bike compared to when he first started. He’s even bought a turbo trainer now for the winter period. Let’s see what the future brings – you never know, I might even get him to do a casual 140 miler with me for charity for what would be a 5th time!

Kully is an excellent coach who’s really improved my Jiu Jitsu game. Kully has also introduced me to the world of Muay Thai and helped me develop a strong base. Working with Jay has been enjoyable, I train with him doing BJJ and he approached me about improving his stand up game. We had a good chat about what his goals were and what was the motivation behind it. Once I understood that, we got to work! The sessions were intense but even in a very short space of time, the improvements Jay made were tenfold. A huge difference from day 1, excited to see where the ceiling is with Jay because I honestly think he can get even better.

Jay is wheelchair bound but that hasn't stopped him from training like a beast! He always gives maximum effort and doesn't make excuses with his condition. This guy is real inspiration and a great lad to work with. He loves hitting pads and the punch bag so we do a lot of boxing sessions for both cardio and endurance, he's actually quite good too!
